Cluj University Press was founded in 1993 in a time of expanding visibility of Babeș-Bolyai University in the European academic landscape and has emerged as an active issue in cultural life by quality and diversity of the published books, the main purpose of our publishing house being the promotion of science and education books.
In its collections, Cluj University Press edited and printed papers in the fields of humanities, technical, fundamental in linguistics, philology, economics, law, philosophy, helping to promote cultural and scientific values in Transylvania.
A confirmation of the prestige of our publishing house and of the quality of editing work was the accreditation of Cluj University Press, ranking compiled by the National Council of Scientific Research in Higher Education (www.editura.ubbcluj.ro/evaluation).
