Cluj University Press was created in 1993 as part of Babeş-Bolyai University and imposed itself as an efficient presence in the academic field due to the quality and the diversity of its published books.

Cluj University Press participates to all the editions of the Book Exhibitions from Cluj-Napoca and Alba–Iulia, annual book fairs Gaudeamus, to the traditional collegiate fairs from Bucharest, Sibiu, Iaşi, Timişoara, Oradea, etc..

The main aim of our publishing house is the scientific and universitary books’ editing, contributing this way to the cultural and scientific life and in the same time to heightening of Babeş-Bolyai University’s prestige.
One of our fundamental assumptions concerns the continuous orientation towards the professors, scholars and scientists who certify the reputation of the academic fame throughout the country and the world.
